One-Pot Beef Ramen
Ramen just hits the spot sometimes! This One-Pot Beef Ramen was super easy to make and packed with flavor! And it has such a unique and complex flavor profile! My whole family loved it! My husband was rushing back to get seconds, and my son was intrigued by all the different veggies on the plate, he really loves pea pods! And what parent isn't excited about their child being excited about vegetables!? This Beef Ramen was a total winner, and one-pot meals mean easy cleanup!
Ingredients
For the sauce:
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Pinch of cayenne
For the ramen:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 ramen noodle packages discard sauce packets
- 12 oz frozen stir fry veggies
- 4 garlic cloves minced
- ½ red onion sliced
- 2 cups water
- 1 ½ cups beef broth
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Optional garnishes:
- sesame seeds
- green onion thinly sliced
- roasted peanuts chopped
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk sauce ingredients together and set aside
- In a large skillet, heat sesame oil on medium heat.
- Brown ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks, cook until no longer pink, 5-7 minutes. Drain beef.
- Add in onion and cook for a minute or so, then add in garlic and cook another minute, until fragrant.
- Stir in sauce mixture and all other remaining ingredients besides garnishes. Cover and cook on medium-high, boiling 3-5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve One-Pot Beef Ramen with sesame seeds, green onion, and chopped roasted peanuts if desired!
