Meatloaf
My family LOVES this dish! It does take time to bake but this recipe is super easy and most importantly, it's delicious! It's like a big burger! I never understood how people don't like it! This recipe is bursting with garlic and flavor! It's juicy! It's everything you could ever want out of a meatloaf!
Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 yellow onion minced
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tbsp italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp worcestershire
- 1 ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
For the glaze:
- ½ cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- ½ tbsp Worcestershire
- pinch of black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 ℉
- Add all meatloaf ingredients to a large bowl. Mix well with your hands, but don't over mix!
- Add meat mixture to an ungreased 9x5 loaf pan.
- In a small bowl, whisk glaze ingredients together.
- Pour over meatloaf and spread evenly with a silicone brush
- Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes. After 1 hour 10 minutes, remove meatloaf and cover with tinfoil for the duration of the cook time.
- Meatloaf is done when it has reached an internal temp of 165 degrees F.
- Drain the grease from the top and make a gravy if you are making mashed potatoes! Or you can discard
- Now let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing

Notes
Refrigerate leftovers for up to 5 days. You can also freeze the cooked meatloaf in an airtight container for up to 3 months.
