Crab Rangoon Pizza
Last updated on January 13th, 2026
Alright, let’s talk crab rangoons. Everybody loves them. Crab Rangoon Pizza? What a dream! This pizza brought all the flavors of a crab rangoon – but in pizza form! That garlicky, oniony, cream cheese sauce. Those chunks of crab, the fresh green onion, the wonton strips, the sweet chili sauce?! This pizza hit the spot! My favorite type of pizza has a white sauce, and this one is pretty unique! I’ve never done anything like it! It was so delicious and the whole family loved it!
Did you know?
Pizza is one of the worlds most photographed foods! Between social media analyzers and food photographers, it has been discovered that the number one food people love to capture on camera – is pizza! It consistently outperforms pasta, burgers, sushi, and well, everything else! Isn’t that neat?
What ingredients do I need for this?
For the Crab Rangoon Pizza:
Dough Ball
Olive Oil
Imitation Crab
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
For the sauce:
Cream Cheese
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Green Onion
Garlic
Salt
Black Pepper
For serving:
Wonton Strips
Thai Sweet Chili Sauce
Green Onion
How do I make it?
To prep the pizza dough:
In a medium sized bowl, pour oil and place doughball inside. Swish around and gently toss the ball in oil, set aside and cover bowl with a damp cloth for several minutes.
Preheat oven to 450 F and lightly grease a round pizza pan. After the dough has risen, gently spread the dough out onto the pizza pan, using a little flour if needed. Stretch and spread the dough around to form a 14-inch pizza. Using a fork, poke some holes in the crust area around the pizza. Bake dough for a few minutes.
To make the sauce:
While that’s baking, in a separate medium sized bowl, add cream cheese, some mozzarella, some green onion, garlic, salt, and pepper with a spoon. Use the back of the spoon to push ingredients together, mixing until combined.
To make the Crab Rangoon Pizza:
Remove pizza from oven and spread the cream cheese mixture around the pizza, leaving the outer layer as the crust. I used a spoon for this, and it worked great! Now layer on the crab and remaining mozzarella cheese. Bake a few more minutes, then broil on high for a couple more, until melty and golden!
To serve:
Garnish Crab Rangoon Pizza with remaining green onion, wonton strips, and Thai Chili Sauce. Enjoy!
