These are some of my absolute favorites!
Let’s face it – there are those days when cooking feels like – meh, it’s not gonna happen. Those are the moments I am super excited to pick up some delicious takeout or indulge in a cozy dinner date to truly unwind. And when we hit the road, it’s an adventure of discovery, diving into every vibrant eatery that we find!

Maldonado’s Taqueria
Maldonado’s Taqueria is a gem for Mexican food lovers! The restaurant is located on the east and west side of Green Bay, WI. Each dish is freshly crafted, and the slight wait is worth it. The East side drive-through offers convenient access to authentic flavors. You can taste the love in every bite! While the entire menu is delicious, my favorite is the Mexican Style Steak Burrito—it’s truly unforgettable! Check out their Facebook Page below!

Two Buds One Joint Griddle
If you’re at a music festival, definitely check if Two Buds One Joint Griddle is there! The staff is warm and welcoming, and the food is incredible! I love their breakfast burrito! However, on our last visit, I saw someone else with the breakfast burger, and I had to try it. It was a lifesaving hangover cure—juicy, dripping with yolk, cheese, and flavor. We’ll be at another festival in 2025, and you can bet we’ll visit our favorite truck! Check their Facebook page for festival locations!

Dave’s Hot Chicken
Dave’s Hot Chicken has recently joined the restaurant scene on Oneida St in west Green Bay! You can also find them across the US! My husband and I LOVE spicy food, so we checked it out. The best part? We could order on our phone and pick it up fresh! You can customize your chicken from no spice to VERY spicy. We tried medium for our tenders and hot for our sandwiches, and every bite was incredible! We’re still talking about our visit! Click to find one near you!

Spicy Pie
Spicy Pie is a staple in the festival community! I always look forward to it! My favorite is the Spicy Pie; it’s simple yet amazing! One slice is plenty to fuel up before a long day, but you can get a whole pie if you want! If you prefer something less spicy, there are many other options, including vegetarian and vegan choices! Check if they’re coming to an event near you!

Plae Bistro
Plae Bistro is the perfect destination if you’re looking to treat yourself! Nestled in the charming town of Bellevue, WI this gem has so much to offer! I fondly recall our romantic Valentine’s Day tradition of savoring their amazing four-course meals before our little ones came into our lives. The vibe strikes the perfect balance between upscale and relaxed. Each course is brought out one at a time, allowing you to fully appreciate each one and savor every moment. It really is an experience! My husband’s favorite is the melt-in-your-mouth wagyu ribeye, while the crab tenderloin had me talking for months! Check out their website to see what they’ve got going on!

Luigi’s Pizza Palace II
Luigi’s Pizza Place II is a local Italian joint that serves up some pretty amazing food! From pizza to pasta to Friday night fish fry, you’re sure to find something you love! While there are many Luigi’s Pizza places around, they are all independently owned, making the majority of their meals from scratch! This location has been family owned since 1986! Every weekend it’s hustling and bustling! Luigi’s has a very lovely atmosphere including a full bar and outdoor seating! Check out their website and menu below if you happen to find yourself in the area!

Archie’s
This Lobster Risotto from Archie’s in Little Suamico, WI is enough to send you to Heaven. Archies has been around for a long time but it was recently revamped by a new owner with some serious skill! My husband and I met up with our friends for dinner here one night and we could not stop talking about how incredible it was! The whole atmosphere of the place was amazing, the chatter- it was buzzing in there! We got bruschetta for an appetizer and that was equally impressive! It had asparagus featured in it which we all found really unique! Totally a place to check out if you find yourself near the area! Check out the Archie’s website!

Hagemeister Park
Hagemeister Park is a local hit featuring trendy food, specialty cocktails, live music, and a gorgeous view of Green Bay! This Saturday Surf and Turf Special was truly something special! It was like sushi meets steak in a bowl! It was so spicy and surprising! There was some fresh cucumber, pickled red onion, broccoli, juicy shrimp, steak, arugula and two spicy sauces over a bed of extremely flavorful rice! My hubby had the Wagyu Burger and we each enjoyed some drinks! My fav was the Pink Starburst, which really tasted like one! Hag is a vibrant and upscale – yet relaxed, place to grab a bite to eat in downtown Green Bay! Check out their website to see what’s new on the city deck!

Pierogi Posse
My husband and I went to our favorite festival again this year, LL2025! Every time we go, we have to visit our favorite food trucks and check out some new ones! We couldn’t WAIT to try Pierogi Posse! My grandma has made pierogis from scratch my entire life, so I’m very familiar with them and love the nostalgic deliciousness! These were so amazing! We got a combo of flavors, some herby butter, fried onions, and some tasty sauces! The staff was super friendly and actually curated a little tasting platter of 10 pierogis just for me! These were so authentic and incredible! Check out their website to see how you can get your hands on some too!
