Avocado Toast

Avocado Toast is something I could eat every day and NEVER get tired of! My oldest son never used to like avocado and then he decided he did one day and would always eat all of it on me! Finally, I started making him his own, but then he’d eat both of ours! At one point, I literally had to hide out in the kitchen and inhale it before he saw me! This is my version of the beloved toast and it’s our favorite breakfast! It keeps you full for a good amount of time and it tastes AMAZING! It’s also a great grab and go breakfast!

So, what’s the avocado craze about anyway?
Avocados have been around for over 10,000 years! The modern-day craze actually came some time ago, around 1920, when Rudolph Hass patented the Hass avocado, which is the main type we see here in the US. Pretty interesting, right? Avocados are popular because they’re extremely healthy, super photogenic, affordable, and easy to find!
What ingredients do I need to make this?
Wheat Bread
Avocado
Mayo
Everything Bagel Seasoning
How do I make it?
Generously smear mayo on wheat toast. Fan your sliced avocado over the toast. Sprinkle avocado toast with everything bagel seasoning.

How can I save the other half of avocado that I didn’t use for my Avocado Toast?
To save your other avocado half for later, always keep the half with the pit! Wrap it up in some tinfoil, or if you have an avocado saver – that is best! Refrigerate and consume unused avocado halve within 24 hours! If it starts to turn brown, that is just oxidation from air exposure and the avocado is still perfectly safe to eat.

- 1 slice of wheat toast
- ยฝ of a ripe avocado sliced
- 1 tbsp mayo
- ยฝ tsp everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
- Generously smear mayo on wheat toast
- Fan your sliced avocado over the toast
