Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette
Last updated on February 12th, 2026
I always say it, over and over again…there is NOTHING like a homemade dressing and sauce! Like for real! HOW DOES SOMETHING THAT HASN’T EVEN BEEN COOKED, SMELL SO GOOD?! So vibrant, sweet, herby, garlicky, and mouthwatering! This Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette was a star on the Apple Salad I made! This vinaigrette would also be lovely to dunk your fries, fruits, and veggies in! Or drizzle it over a wrap! This was incredible and super easy to make!

How do honey and balsamic jive together?
Balsamic vinegar adds depth while honey brings sweetness and smoothness! Together this combo is tangy, sweet, and aromatic! The honey helps to mellow out the bitterness from the balsamic! Balsamic vinegar has notes from fig, cherry, and molasses which pairs perfectly with honey since it’s a bit floral and earthy! This pair is absolutely perfect!
Did you know?
Honey never expires! Archeologists have found honey pots in Egyptian tombs from over 3,000 years ago that are still edible! Pretty wild! Honey is such a sweet, natural surprise! Bees fly about 55,000 miles to make just one pound of honey! That’s like flying around the whole earth more than two times! And these bees visit more than 2 million flowers along the way! Honey is also the only food made by insects that humans eat! I love honey so much – I feel like it’s such an underrated natural sweetener!
