Carrot Chips
Last updated on January 21st, 2026
You know the moment. Your kid walks up and says, “Can I have another snack?” And you’re thinking…YOU’VE BEEN EATING ALL DAY! Eating anything but…your meals. Any parent can relate to this I feel like! Sometimes it’s a full-time job just getting your kids to eat something that isn’t junk! These Carrot Chips offer fiber, a veggie, AND they’re super easy to make in the air fryer! Plus, it’s a great way to use up those extra carrots in the fridge! These were crunchy, yet soft inside, full of flavor, and amazing with some ranch dressing!

Did you know?
The world’s longest carrot was over 20 feet including its roots! Isn’t that wild?! It was grown by a gardener in the UK who was known for growing record-breaking produce!
What ingredients do I need to make Carrot Chips?
Carrots
Eggs
Panko Breadcrumbs
Flour
Rosemary
Thyme
Onion Powder
Lawry’s Seasoning
Chili Powder
Black Pepper
Cooking Spray
For serving:
Fresh Parmesan
Parsley
Ranch dressing – store-bought or try my recipe!
How do I make it?
Get three shallow dishes out and whisk the eggs in the first one. In the second one, whisk the Lawry’s with the panko. In the last dish, whisk flour and all other ingredients besides carrots, until combined.
Take some carrots and working in batches move from the egg wash allowing them to drip off any excess, to the panko, to the flour, tossing the carrots until covered completely. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and add the carrots in a single layer, without touching.
Air fry at 400 F for several minutes per batch, shaking halfway through. This took me 3 batches to complete all carrots, but it depends on the size of your air fryer.
Garnish Carrot Chips with fresh parsley and parmesan. Serve with ranch dressing for dipping if desired! Enjoy!
