Why are drumsticks so fun to eat?
I feel like this specific cut of chicken brings out the inner child in us! When my sister and I were kids, it was the only cut of chicken we ever wanted! We’d dig to the bottom of the chicken bucket and fight over these things! They’re just perfectly sized, handheld, little chicken legs – usually boasting a good amount of juicy white meat on them! When the skin is nice and crispy, I mean – YUM! Ya can’t beat it! Now I get to make them for my kids, so it’s extra special! These are also so versatile! You can do just about any flavor, and they can be air fried, oven baked and smoked! Lots of opportunity here.
Did you know?
The skin on the drumsticks help to keep the juice inside and stops the meat from drying out! The fat renders slowly and that skin gets nice and crispy!
What ingredients do I need to make these?
