Spicy Bloody Mary
Last updated on January 27th, 2026
A good Bloody is hard to beat! This Spicy Bloody Mary hit the spot around lunch time for me and my husband! It was everything you’d want in a bloody! Tomatoey, a little tangy, a little spicy, a little strong (duh!), then you have all those amazing garnishes to finish it off! After that pickle and celery has been marinating in the drink, take a big ole crunchy bite and get those flavors all over again! This is perfect for brunch, lunch, I mean really any time of the day! It was delicious – the perfect hangover cure!

Did you know?
The largest Bloody Mary that’s ever been made was over 2,500 gallons! This bad boy had 500 POUNDS of garnishes on it! That’s pretty wild!
Why is a Bloody the ULTIMATE hangover cure?
This drink is thought to be the best solution to a rough morning due to the salt (electrolytes), the tomato (hydration and vegetables – duh!), and the vodka (hair of the dog)! Bloodies are clearly the superior brunch cocktail! Besides, what other drink could you get a whole lunch spread served on?
What ingredients do I need for this spicy bloody mary?
Tomato Juice
Vodka
Pickle Juice
Lemon Juice
Worcestershire
Tajin
Celery Salt
Salt
Pepper
Hot Sauce
Ice
For Serving:
Tajin
Worcestershire
Pickles
Olives
Celery
Lemon Wedges
Whatever else you want – shrimp, cheese, sausage, a whole slider if you’re up for it!
How do I make it?
To make the spicy bloody mary mix and decorate the glasses:
I don’t have a shaker, so I used a pitcher, and it worked just fine! Add all ingredients besides ice and garnishes to a large pitcher and mix until combined.
Take some Worcestershire and put it in a small dish. Take two large glasses and place in the dish to wet the rims. Sprinkle some Tajin in a dish or on your cutting board and roll the rims of the cups around in it to coat.

To serve:
Fill cups with ice and pour the Spicy Bloody Mary mixture inside. Garnish with celery, pickle, lemon wedges, put some olives on a skewer – whatever you want!

Tips:
- This recipe makes two drinks, but you can double or triple it for a group if you want! Just store it in a pitcher with an air-tight lid for up to a day!
- It’s best to use a high-quality vodka like Absolut, Svedka, Three Olives, or Tito’s!
