Why this breakfast is next level!

This sandwich is packed with protein and a ton of fresh ingredients! My favorite thing about it is that it’s portable! Whip this baby up and wrap it in foil to keep warm on the way to work! Eat it in the car, nuke it in the microwave when you get there if you want!

Pro Tip: Take a lime wedge with you and squeeze a bit on the avocado, then stash it in the fridge for when you’re hungry again. This stops the avocado from turning brown on the sandwich!

This totally rocks as a mid-day snack or a late-night-snack too! It’s yummy all day long! It’s super filling so it could even be your lunch! The sky is the limit with this tasty sammy!

Did you know?

The breakfast sandwich as we know it today is a modern invention! These didn’t start showing up until around 1970, when fast-food companies realized the people commuting to work needed something more portable to eat in the morning!

What ingredients do I need to make this?

Wheat Bread
Bacon
Avocado
Tomato
Yellow Onion
American Cheese
Eggs
Mayo
Everything Bagel Seasoning

How do I make it?

The first thing you’ll want to do is prep your ingredients. Thinly slice the avocado, onion, and tomato. Fry bacon in a skillet on medium. Set aside on a paper towel lined plate until ready to use. In the same pan with the bacon grease, fry eggs and onion, adding a bit of salt and pepper to each.

Put your toast down in the toaster and remove fried onion from the pan, adding to plate with bacon. When eggs are done and fried on both sides, add cheese to the tops. Remove from heat and allow that cheese to melt. When toast is done, spread mayo on all slices.

On one half of sandwich, line 1 1/2 bacon slices. Next, add a fried egg on top of the bacon, then some fried onion. Shake a bit of everything bagel seasoning on top. Add tomato and fan the avocado over it. Assemble both sandwiches, cut in half if desired.
