Parmesan Garlic Wings

Parmesan Garlic Wings on a white plate with a ramekin of ranch sauce on a wood table

Last updated on January 23rd, 2026

We love wings! They’re so easy to make and so delicious! And making them at home is WAY cheaper than going out for wings! Our 3-year-old loves eating them like a big boy, off the bone! You can tell he just feels so cool and it’s super fun to watch! These Parmesan Garlic Wings were cooked in the oven on a rack, to maintain their crispiness! I tossed them in some melted butter and garlic and finished them off with some parsley and parmesan! So tasty! Our family of four polished these off with none to spare! They’re addicting!

Did you know?

Garlic only gets its famous smell after it’s been cut! And depending on what you do with it, determines its flavor! If you smash the garlic, it’ll be mild and sweet. If you mince it, it gives that strong garlic flavor most of us love. And if you grate or press it, it gives almost a spicy punch since more of the garlic cells are damaged this way. Isn’t that neat!?

How do I make these Parmesan Garlic Wings?

For the wings:

Chicken Wings
Olive Oil
Salt
Onion Powder
Black Pepper
Chili Powder

For the sauce:

Butter
Garlic

For serving:

Fresh parsley
Parmesan cheese
Ranch – store-bought or try my recipe for homemade!

How do I make them?

To make the wings:

Preheat oven to 425 F and line a large baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup. Put a rack over the pan, that’s where the wings will sit. This keeps them out of their own juices and keeps them crispy! This step is very important!

In a large bowl, add all of the spices for the wings and whisk to combine. Add the wings to the bowl and toss with your hands until thoroughly coated. Lay the wings on the prepared rack and baking sheet with a bit of space between them.

Bake wings, then broil on high for a minute or so, until wings have a nice golden-brown color.

To make the sauce:

In a small skillet, melt butter on medium. Add garlic to the pan and cook until fragrant, stirring constantly so the garlic doesn’t burn. Transfer to a large bowl and toss wings in the sauce with a tong, working in batches. If you overcrowd the bowl and try to toss them all at once, they might not all get adequately covered.

To serve:

Serve wings with freshly grated parmesan and parsley, if desired! Dunk them in some ranch or your preferred sauce! Enjoy!

What should I eat with these wings?

You can eat these all by themselves with some ranch, hot sauce, or whatever you like! They taste amazing on their own, so you definitely don’t need any other sauce! These wings make the perfect appetizer, side for a party, or main course! If you wanted something alongside the wings, you could make some fries, onion rings, even a side salad!
