Air Fryer Nachos

Air fryer nachos with garnishes on top in an air fryer basket

Last updated on October 21st, 2025

There’s nothing like a nacho! And when you make the filling for tacos or burritos, there’s usually a TON left over. So how to repurpose it? Ya toss it in a nacho! These Air Fryer Nachos were everything you’d want out of a nacho! Cheesy, meaty, crunchy, bright, acidic! They were the whole package! And using the air fryer just makes everything so easy! I love the convenience of it! These made the perfect mid-day snack for my family, and they were done in no time!

Why are air fryers next level?

Well…let’s see – they’re super easy to use, super quick, and they give a deep-fried feel but they’re WAY healthier because instead of using oil, they use air! Yep, that’s right. They literally fry things with air. Such a genius contraption! The basket is also typically dishwasher safe, and you can preheat them in under 5 minutes! I always line my basket with foil because you already know I’m trying to do as little cleaning as possible! Air fryers are a force to be reckoned with in today’s busy world!

What ingredients do I need?

Tortilla Chips
Taco Meat – I had some leftover from my Taco Salad recipe!
Shredded Cheese
Lettuce
Green Onion
Tomato
Sour Cream
Hot Sauce
Lime Juice

Equipment Needed:

How do I make them?

Preheat air fryer for a few minutes at 390 F. Line the air fryer basket with tinfoil for easy cleanup. Lay out some tortilla chips, sprinkle on the cooked taco meat, and top with cheese. Air fry for a couple minutes, until cheese is melty!

Tips:

If you don’t have an air fryer, you can always make these in the oven! I turned my Southwest Burritos leftovers into a nacho by baking them at 350 F for 6-8 minutes! You can do this with almost any leftover meat and toppings!
